The History of G.L.F.'s Transsexual and Transvestite Group (1971 - 1973)

Now in its third edition, the well-loved Tranny Central has been beefed up to create this new extended version.

TGirlsonFilm summons the spirits of our radical trans-sisters of the Gay Liberation Front. Take a trip back to the suffocating howl of seventies London and bask in the hash hazed memories of Rachel Pollack's flat. The US had the Compton Cafeteria and Stonewall Riots: how did London’s premiere transvestite and transsexuals react to the bubbling queer rebellion? Often dismissed and erased, it’s time to know the history. Get in your glad rags, grab your slap, and head straight to Tranny Central girl!

This publication was originally made for Hackney Pride 365 LGBTQIA+ History Month in 2024.
