An A6 Risograph pocket sized zine and soft guide, going through the experience of Endometriosis; the chronic illness and disability that affects 1 in 10 Women and Gender Diverse People. 30 pages and 3-colours (Medium Blue, Fluro Pink + Orange) of images, illustrations and text on symptom management, modes of rest, and lessons on care. Backed by the 20+ years of medical experience related to this disability, of the researcher and publisher of the zine.
Whilst women and gender diverse people have been experiencing this disease for yonks, it is still boggling the minds of medical professionals and endo sufferer’s alike. The onus, though, is on medicine to pour money into researching Endometriosis, the bodies it affects and the bizarre and agonising symptoms associated with it.
It's not in your head. The connection between your pain, brain fog, your knees giving way, your inability to get out of bed, your dissociation from your body, your depression…there is a reason for it.
This tiny guide was made to support Endo sufferers on their journey's to better health. You deserve to be well and live with joy. You deserve to have agency over your own body and to not mask how you feel.
*Whilst we aren’t doctors, and the info in here cannot be taken as medical advice, this guide has been made by an Endo baddie.
Your journey is your own, but we hope this helps a little
