Analog Self: Zine-making Workshop

by Artizine
£17.00

Join icon Artizine for a slow, heart-led zine-making sessions in a print studio exploring memory, reflection, and the self through gentle, analogue practices.

An intimate workshop series exploring zine-making as a sentimental practice for gathering memory and investigating the self.

Hosted on quiet Sunday mornings in the beautiful printing studio at PageMasters HQ, these sessions invite you to sit among zines, slow down, and gently archive your stories.

Each workshop is heart-led and softly guided, offering tender prompts and a shared theme of reflection. Rather than focusing on outcomes, the sessions centre mindful, analogue approaches to documenting lived experience, treating zines as personal containers for thoughts, feelings, and moments you wish to hold onto.

✂️❤️ Open to anyone.

Ioana Simion (Artizine) is an artist, educator, and facilitator working with zines as tools for storytelling and collective expression. Her practice explores zine-making as a form of emotional archiving; a way to document lived experience and inner landscapes through analogue, DIY publishing.

Zine-making sits at the heart of Ioana’s work as an inherently collaborative and social form. Her practice is informed by the history of zines as tools for connection, self-organisation, and shared storytelling. Through her workshops and extended practice, Ioana honours this lineage by creating spaces that prioritise exchange, participation, and the slow building of shared cultures and meaning.
