Made in collaboration with Reference Point, a modern commons based on physical research, community and art, the publication brings the core ideas of A-COLD-WALL* and Dr. Martens partnership into the physical, tangible world through the medium of zines.

Drawing upon the legacy of proto-punk and punk zines and inspired by the contemporary movement of youth, the 60-page zine encapsulates the duality of modernism and heritage that the shoe, and both brands, speak to. Comprised of essays exploring themes of decay, stigmata and deconstruction, alongside think-pieces from Wilson Oryema and poetry from Moonchile - who lead as protagonists throughout the zines imagery - Fixed Position is a publication that explores not just the genesis and ideas behind the collaboration, but the ideas of the epoch we exist and create in.
